Sailing

RHADC is an inclusive club that promotes sailing to existing and future members.

From sailing lessons and coaching, to competition and race management, the RHADC is an active sailing club. RHADC is a community of sailors who share a common interest in sailboat racing and sailing.

We’re all about the fun, friendship, and community to be had “messing around in boats,” and getting together afterward at one of the prettiest spots Bermuda . With a 130+ year tradition and many days of racing each season, our members’ commitment to the sport speaks for itself. Come down to the Club, meet the sailors, the coaching staff, and members – you’ll be warmly welcomed and encouraged to take up this outdoor sport. RHADC promotes high-quality, friendly competition, good sportsmanship, and camaraderie among sailors.

Parent Participation

Our club was founded on the spirit of member participation. All members work together to make RHADC a unique and outstanding sailing club . In keeping with this tradition, it is expected that the parents of our junior sailors volunteer to help run and improve our Junior Sailing Program.

We host a handful of junior regattas each year that will require your help to make them successful and enjoyable for your sailors. There are plenty of opportunities to help before, during, and after sailing – something as simple as cookies or hot chocolate after a cold winters day out. Even if you’re not a sailor, there are many ways to get involved (e.g. marketing, social, logistics, registration, etc.)!
